Welcome!

I’m a seasoned researcher and data  professional with extensive experience across the full data stack—from querying and wrangling raw data, to preparing analytics-ready data sets, creating visualizations, and presenting research findings to diverse audiences.

My passion lies in leveraging data to tackle complex problems and drive improved healthcare outcomes through research and analytics.
Technical Skills
RStudio, SQL, Python, Git, Tableau Desktop, Qualtrics, RedCap,  Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Research Skills
Health research methods, health economics and outcomes research, policy analysis, and data cleaning, transformation, manipulation, analysis, & visualization.
🗨️
My goal is to make raw data easy to access and understand, empowering organizations to extract actionable insights and make informed decisions with confidence.
I have worked and collaborated on a variety of public health projects across academic settings, community needs assessments, and industry initiatives. My expertise spans health policy and population research methods, value assessments, big data analytics, triangulation, and data visualization. Additionally, I have experience in university teaching, course development, and health communication. This diverse skill set allows me to bring a well-rounded perspective to each project I undertake.

Outside of work, I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Health Policy & Management at Kent State University. I have co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, served as conference abstract reviewer, and presented at national and global conferences.

Dissertation Focus

My dissertation focuses on understanding the prevalence of positively screened depression and anxiety among international college students using the Andersen Model of Healthcare Utilization. Leveraging a national data set, I explore how factors such as citizenship status, country of origin, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and perceived social barriers and facilitators to help-seeking impact mental health service utilization in this population. Through my research, I shift the focus upstream and aim to provide insights into the disparities in mental health conditions and the service access among international and domestic students, with the ultimate goal of improving mental health support for all through early outreach and tailored interventions.
